Did you know it's International Tea Day? To celebrate, we’re shining a spotlight on some of the brilliant teapots on display at Cannon Hall Museum, Park & Gardens – from elegant antiques to quirky designs, there’s something for every tea lover to admire.


The Worsbrough Mill Sprite Trail begins this Saturday, 24th May! Keep your eyes peeled - can you spot the sprites hiding throughout the mill? Follow the clues, wander the grounds, and see how many hidden sprites you can discover along the way.


This half term, step into a world of magic and curiosity at Cannon Hall Museum, Park & Gardens enchanting woodland trail, inspired by the whimsical tale of Wonderland. Designed for families and children of all ages, this free event invites you on a self-guided adventure brimming with fun.


The Little Hummingbird Events' Craft & Makers Market returns to Elsecar Heritage Centre this Bank Holiday Monday, from 10am to 4pm! Go along and explore a vibrant mix of makers, bakers, crafters, and traders. Plus, don’t miss the chance to browse the on-site independent shops.

Tomorrow, The Cooper Gallery is hosting Going Wild – a free, drop-in sculpture workshop for families, children, and anyone feeling creative. Inspired by Malby’s incredible animal artworks in the gallery, participants can create their own wild creatures using a variety of materials.


Celebrate National Wildlife Week by visiting Worsbrough Mill and exploring the Harvest Mice Trail. This free activity lets families and nature enthusiasts discover hidden harvest mice around the grounds, each with facts about these fascinating creatures and their habitats.



Join the Art for Wellbeing sessions every Wednesday in June at The Cooper Gallery. Work alongside artists Sally Philburn and Julia Woodhall to explore different art forms in a welcoming space. These sessions are supported by Historic England and Barnsley Museums & Heritage Trust.
