I spent time today in the wonderful company of BarnsleySingers choir friends, invited to lunch at Barnsley Town Hall by the Mayor and Mayoress. What a lovely day - and we delighted them by raising the roof with one of our songs! 🎵

It was a great privilege to have lunch with the Mayor yesterday. We will remember it for a long while and we are so grateful for all the support the Mayor and Mayoress have shown us this year. Thank you to everyone who helps make Barnsley Singers a wonderful place to be 😁❤️🖤

Tonight we are doing a sponsored song event for The Nave - a special space for all the choir of #Barnsley to rehearse, meet, teach, learn and collaborate with some exciting choirs from around the globe. Which song are we dressed up as?? Barnsley Youth Choir BarnsleySingers

This is going to be a great few days. 1000+ children singing their hearts out. Great rep, a great band, great soloists, sound and lighting. Then on 13th July 600 from Barnsley Youth Choir and BarnsleySingers will form a masses choir for a special 15th Anniversary Concert. 🎉

Such an exciting opportunity. Do come along and see some fantastic singing from Voices of Singapore, Dr. Darius Lim, BYC Senior Choir BYC Intermediate Choir in a lovely setting.

A special celebration this evening for Jack & Paul with BarnsleySingers Wentworth Church 💜

It was very moving indeed to attend the Memorial Service to Paul and Jack Sykes to mark the tenth anniversary of their deaths. Their wonderful mum, Claire Throssell, Barnsley Wind Bands, and BarnsleySingers created the most magnificent celebration of their lives and talents.
