I was really impressed by the Senior Housing Expo put on by the Rockville Senior Center and City of Rockville. Great to see members of the Rockville Senior Citizens Commission there (soon to be renamed the Rockville Commission on Aging).

Come on down - the Summer BBQ Festival (Asian BBQ Festival) at RockvilleTownSquare in City of Rockville is in full swing. It is going until 7:00 today! Fun - food, music and great dancing! Another great event. Thanks for keeping us safe Rockville City Police Department.

Yesterday I went to the Open House of the new Rockville Bike Hub facility in Twinbrook. RBH partners with City of Rockville for the TERRIFIC bike program - giving bicycles to children who did good deeds. I was thrilled to show my support for a group doing good for Rockville’s community.

After the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington was uninvited to the Kennedy Center, Christ Episcopal Church in City of Rockville was one of the places to extend an invite. Proud to be part of inclusion and equality- for standing up for love not hate or diviseness. Plus it was a great show!

Waiting to tandem jump with the U.S. Army and their Golden Knights Parachute team. City of Rockville, City of Gaithersburg and other elected officials got the invite. I was ecstatic to take them up on it!

Yesterday I went skydiving with U.S. Army & Army Golden Knights - an elite team. They extended an invite to City of Rockville, City of Gaithersburg & other elected officials. Ryan Spiegel, Jud Ashman and Mayor Monique Ashton were able to go. I am beyond thrilled to say I made the jump and left my comfort zone.

Going on now - Juneteenth Celebration in RockvilleTownSquare put on by Moroguard and with assistance from City of Rockville. Come on down and join us in celebrating - with music, dancing, food and more!

Rockville is here at the MD Municipal League Annual Conference & we're thrilled to meet up with Maryland Comptroller Brooke Lierman! Always great to see the Comptroller consistently engage with and support local municipalities.
