I was really impressed by the Senior Housing Expo put on by the Rockville Senior Center and City of Rockville. Great to see members of the Rockville Senior Citizens Commission there (soon to be renamed the Rockville Commission on Aging).

Yesterday I went to the Open House of the new Rockville Bike Hub facility in Twinbrook. RBH partners with City of Rockville for the TERRIFIC bike program - giving bicycles to children who did good deeds. I was thrilled to show my support for a group doing good for Rockville’s community.

Yesterday I went skydiving with U.S. Army & Army Golden Knights - an elite team. They extended an invite to City of Rockville, City of Gaithersburg & other elected officials. Ryan Spiegel, Jud Ashman and Mayor Monique Ashton were able to go. I am beyond thrilled to say I made the jump and left my comfort zone.

Lincoln Park is holding its 134th Anniversary Celebration at Mt Calvary Baptist Church. I was honored to attend and stand next to the Mayor and my Council colleagues as we read a certificate of recognition and helped celebrate a vibrant, diverse and historic neighborhood.
