Should we really be scaring captive animals? Yes! Our new paper (onlinelibrary.wiley.com/share/author/7…) in Restoration Ecology shows antipredator training changes prey traits and increases survival upon release, but notes we need to look at these connections more to guide management efforts.

Congrats to recent PhD grad Dr. Jennifer Zhu on getting her 3rd chapter published and to the two Baruch undergraduates who are also co-authors on the paper! Baruch Weissman The Graduate Center GC CUNY Biology Stephen Gosnell Baruch ENV
