Rib Lake forfeiting against Flambeau tonight and possibly next week as well as injuries have cut into a thin roster. #wisfb

As I understand it, Rib Lake only had 10 kids show up the first day of practice as around five expected returnees opting to focus on b-ball, etc. The head coach also resigned around that time, but the girls' b-ball coach stepped in and they were able to get four more kids. #wisfb

It wasn't enough to play Week 1, but they held their own up until the Phillips game where three kids suffered season-enders and then the QB/best player went down against Prentice. #wisfb

Prentice has managed to stay healthier but their numbers are also thin. They are also senior-heavy. Would not be surprised if both have issues next year and talk of reforming the co-op occurs. #wisfb

It's unfortunate for Rib Lake, because even with the Tucker brothers transferring to SPASH, the group they had expected to return was a very athletic group (see their basketball and baseball success) and would have pushed for playoff qualification. #wisfb
