Today marks a new chapter in the mission to fix London’s housing crisis. I applaud Sadiq Khan’s leadership - if we are to build the new homes that those in our city desperately need, we rightly need to release of some of the green belt. Many thanks to Cllr Anthony Okereke for hosting us.

As the councillor responsible for sport in Islington I felt it was important to try out the active-multi zone at the Sobell on the first weekend that the whole centre is re-open.

What a day at the Emirates! 🏆 As a Gooner and Councillor for Arsenal ward, it was a privilege to welcome Arsenal Women home as Champions League winners and the chance to lift the trophy. North London is red — and now, it’s European gold too 🔴✨

🏆 A week since the best women’s football team in Europe - Arsenal Women - came home to a heroes welcome. Champions of Europe - the only in the land. As an Arsenal Councillor as well as a lifelong Gooner, I couldn’t be more proud of them.

🌍 Honoured to have visited Lancaster House for the Welcome Reception of Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, the new The Commonwealth Secretary-General - the first African woman to lead the 56-nation body. We celebrated her vision, marked by the power of unity, purpose and collaboration globally.

Today at St. Paul’s we marked the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide - remembering the 8,000 Bosniak men and boys murdered because of their ethnicity and religion. As global tensions escalate, we must remember we have more in common than that which divides us.
