Thanks to Toshana Foster and Janet Daly for organising the first event of Bridging Virology across the Midlands, with the help of Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research, Merck, Thermo Fisher and Novogene Europe. Great opportunity to collaborate and find out what's going on with our neighbouring scientists😎
A big shoutout to Vishal Deoke from State Bank of India @amravati branch. Expats would understand the woes of the digital age banking and being an urban nomad! Vishal sorted the account issues swiftly and efficiently, I think all the SBI lunch memes need to be revised, haha!
On the way to conversations in #biophysics at #bps2025 with British Airways and lessons from history to keep me company.
It was brilliant talking about our cryo-#OrbiSIMS guided construction of #HIV #RNA #Atlas at #bps2025. Thank you Biophysical Society and Theory and Computation subgroup for the invitation, looking forward to conversations over the next days! Have just been to a fantastic session with Alaina G. Levine🦄Your Unicorn Career with tips on networking for biophysicists and making the best of this conference. If you haven’t already, consider dropping by at one of the other career centre workshops #bps2025 Biophysical Society
Adieu to LA after #bps2025. Every conservation I had over the past 5 days, I learnt something new and made new friends. Thank you Biophysical Society for the invitation to speak and connect at this incredible meeting!
Interesting and insightful lectures by Serdal Kirmizialtin (NYU Abu Dhabi), Aditi Borkar (University of Nottingham) and Ruchi Anand (IIT Bombay) concluded the last session of the SCPP workshop today. Aditi Borkar Ruchi Anand IIT Bombay
Funding success for Aditi Borkar who has been awarded £345k by the Leverhulme Trust to further her work combining harnessing OrbiSIMS technology to bridge the gap between high-resolution molecular imaging and precise structure determination for RNAs.
Thanks One Virology for the shoutout! We will be hiring postdoc and PhD for this grant, watch this space for more updates
#RNA #structure complexity is a challenge I love exploring, and its potential is immense. In my invited #TheBiochemist (Biochemical Society) feature, I share how #OrbiSIMS & #AI can help unlock RNA’s structural secrets at speed, scale & atomic precision. Read: doi.org/10.1042/bio_20…
