Thought you might like this video Hedgehog Cabin showing the pigeons on the tray that OH added to bird feeders to minimise sunflower seed spillage onto ground so #hedgehogs couldn’t get to it. But I’m sure the pigeons sometimes just come for a swing rather than spilt seed!

If you see a swift like this. Pick it up, hold it up, and let it fly off. They can't take off from the ground or flat surfaces. RT this. It could save a swift.

As you know Hedgehog Cabin I’m desperate to see some #hedgehog babies in our garden but not like this. Found wandering about when I was hanging out the washing. Now at a wildlife rescue who’ve said he’s about 7-8 weeks old. 🤞🏻 Searched for siblings everywhere to no avail.

Time to repost this. I've already had 4 calls and mails, reporting in total 7 little lives lost. Hedgehogs found dead on the lawn, for no apparent reason. In each case finders had left their compost doorway open so hedgehogs gained access. Please beware. x.com/HedgehogCabin/…

Last check by the back door last night revealed a baby newt in the #hedgehog water bowl/cat keeper outer! I don’t know who was more surprised - relocated to the pond so they didn’t get accidentally stood on by a hedgehog coming to feed. Hedgehog Cabin thought u might like this x
