Thimble Hall in Hawkshead was owned by Beatrix Potter and appeared in her 1929 book The Fairy Caravan as Misses Pussycats' Shop. Beatrix Potter left Thimble Hall to the National Trust.

On 20 May of 1896 Beatrix Potter visited Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, with her uncle, Sir Henry Roscoe. She showed her fungus drawings to Director, W. Thiselton-Dyer. They wrote their names in the guest book at Kew Gardens. #kewgardens #kewgardenslondon

On Sunday, the gardens at Gwaenynog were open to visitors. This home in Wales once belonged to Beatrix Potter’s Aunt and Uncle, Harriett (née Leech) and Fred Burton. The gardens at were the inspiration for Beatrix’s illustrations in The Tale of The Flopsy Bunnies. 📸 The BPS
