The antimicrobial potential of #CRISPRCas systems is promising, yet how to best design or implement CRISPR nucleases remains poorly understood. Researchers from #HIRI, Helmholtz-Zentrum für Infektionsforschung –inaktiv, University of Toronto, Tel Aviv University & Institut Pasteur, since 1887 have addressed this knowledge gap: helmholtz-hiri.de/en/newsroom/ne…
Very happy to work on the interaction between MGEs with Manuel Ares Arroyo🥳🥳 Thanks Institut Pasteur, since 1887 for the opportunity 🙏
Prophages represent past infection events. Can we leverage this data to predict phage specificity? A big shoutout to Concha-Eloko Robby for leading this project! 👏👏
For the past two years, we have been working on a novel approach to identify origins of transfer by conjugation in plasmids from any bacterial species. We are thrilled to see this work now published in Nature Microbiology after thorough peer review! nature.com/articles/s4156…
