Just received the NGA for our new NIDAnews DP1! I am thrilled we will be able to investigate new targets in SST cells for the treatment of OUD. Major thanks to the support from Colleen McClung @MoussawiKhaled Larry Zweifel, and all who helped develop and refine this proposal!

Excited to share our first foray into opioid research! Becca Cole set out to build a comprehensive picture of opioid receptor function within PFC interneurons. Becca characterized several pronounced and contrasting effects across the major GABAergic cell types and circuits...

Presynaptic and somato-dendritic DOR functions are greatest in SST cells, while MOR's effects and putative subcellular location vary extensively across cell types. Lots of neat data in this one, including a new tool made by ⚡️GREG_CORDER⚡️ and @gsalimando to target MOR+ cells
