A salary or job title might be “greater/higher” than others, but it doesn’t mean you are better than them, know more or are deserving of more opportunities Seniority does not always mean greater intelligence, experience or productivity Judge the individual not the title 🙌

As a Manager/leader, it’s important to think about the language used (jargon). Sometimes, we say things to people that can unintentionally cause them to feel demoralised. Words matter.

I am 💯% convinced that a moritorium must be declared on all deficit focused & damage-centered research. As this sort of pathologising research is being used as a gateway to community harming policies. Researchers that are profiling only deficits should be stopped at the gate.
