Today’s school visits w/ Dr. Tim Reves & Josh Umphrey took us to California Trail MS & Regency Place! Lots of learning in action from future chefs cooking 🍕in FACS, to our talented musicians in choir at the middle school level, to students learning about maps/geography at elementary!

We’d like to give a big shout to our bus drivers for powering through the extreme heat this week! Throughout the week, our schools have shown incredible support by treating them with cold drinks and treats. Today, we thought we'd send an ice cream truck to DS Bus Lines to cap off

Loved our visit to Rolling Ridge Elementary & Westview Elementary! We got to 👀 a counseling lesson in action, made friends with some awesome kindergartners, listened to a lesson on integrity & Josh Umphrey & Dr. Tim Reves engaged in some 1-1 work with students! #OPSForwardTogether

Enjoyed our visit to ONW today with Chris Zuck! Our high school classrooms are amazing! We saw freshman engaging in team bonding, learned about different kinds of graphs in science, saw some amazing student work posted in the classroom and got a lesson in punctuation in English!

Spent the afternoon with Havencroft Hawks to watch the solar eclipse! These kids were shining stars and shared their excitement about the eclipse with special visitors from KMBC.

Visited Olathe South HS this morning & saw lots of great learning in action! Listened in on a math lesson that, as a word person, had my head spinning😵‍💫🔢, heard beautiful band music🎵 & even caught a science experiment 🧑‍🔬. School visit days in Olathe Public Schools are simply the best!

A great morning visiting Canyon Creek Elementary and Manchester Park Elementary! Students designed cards for first responders, practiced punctuation and even worked on their spelling words by writing on their head! Best part was getting to visit my favorite Timberwolf kindergartner along the way 💜
