Frank Miller and I have always loved telling the story how no one was allowed to improvise any dialogue on Sin City. (We wanted to have the movie be incredibly faithful to his graphic novel.) But we bent that rule every day Michael Madsen worked with us. Being a fantastic writer,

As someone who just merely liked the original 2002 animated film, I didn’t have any expectations for this live action remake of it. While I can see some fans have issues with it, I still found it quite enjoyable film overall. The cast were quite good and the CGI was great. 3.5/5

I must admit like a lot of people, I was very sceptical for this live action remake of the 2010 animated film. To my surprise, it’s actually really good. While it is a little too faithful to the original film at times, it manages to still capture the heart and wonder of it. 4/5

Even though I wish it was a little bit long since the 3rd act felt like it rushed at times, this was still a really entertaining entry in the series. While they’re not in the film much, it was fun seeing Chan & Macchio bounce off each other. The fight scenes were great too. 3.5/5

Julian McMahon was literally just fantastic as an alpha male beach bro gang leader in The Surfer alongside Nicolas Cage. Hit VOD a few weeks back. Check it out. Felt like one of those start of a career resurgence type performances. Very sad news.

I like when the cast announcements was starting, they started pretty reasonable but as it went on, they got more and more insane. I have to admire this film going out of the box with the choices they’re making. Whether that will work or not, I’m not sure. But I can’t wait! 🤣

Well, tonight was a series of unexpected coincidences. Went to a local wrestling event at the last minute and then to my surprise, one of my cousins, who’s a wrestler, was involved with a match on the show that night. I didn’t know he was until I saw his face on a poster 🤣
