Dinesh Gundu Rao/ದಿನೇಶ್ ಗುಂಡೂರಾವ್ Karnataka Health Department CDSCO_INDIA_INFO Sir, there is more to this story. We have a piece which should be published soon (hopefully) by a newspaper which has additional facts which may be of interest to you. Having said that, I wish you had asked the CDSCO_INDIA_INFO if they had inspected this mfg in the past 1/2

Dinesh Gundu Rao/ದಿನೇಶ್ ಗುಂಡೂರಾವ್ Karnataka Health Department CDSCO_INDIA_INFO 2/2 and if so, to make the results of the such inspection(s) public. Clearly, this manufacturer has a history of making NSQ drugs. Would that not have been a criteria in the "Risk Based Inspections" that the CDSCO_INDIA_INFO has been touting for the last several years?

The first Q Karnataka govt. should ask is how batches were approved after retesting, given that sterility tests can fail for only a few bottles in a batch, but not all. CDL should have known this. And CDSCO should have known this. Ganadhish Kamat

On a Saturday evening, a hard working babu in the Ministry of Health published this👇 notification in the Gazette inviting comments on extending the deadline for implementation of the new Good Manufacture Code (GMP) that was to come into effect on Jan 4 1/n

Ministry of Health 6/n Regardless of whether it is the new or old GMP code, the question is whether the Govt. is serious about implementing either of these codes at all? We know that the old GMP code is not being enforced seriously by all states – if it were, we would not be seeing so many NSQ

Ministry of Health CDSCO_INDIA_INFO 8/n please send your comments to the following email ID: [email protected] More people need to speak up on this issue for things to change. Ask for: 1. No further extensions 2. Transparency – let the inspections reports for GMP compliance be made publicly available &
