Excited to share that the 2024 Symposium on Geometry Processing (SGP) Symposium on Geometry Processing will be at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)! This will be the first (non-virtual) SGP to be in North America. SGP is a premier venue for research in applied geometry, including fabrication, VR, 3D vision, & architecture.

A recording of my presentation at the Academy Software Foundation (Academy Software Foundation) Open Source Day is now online: youtube.com/watch?v=2KcrzV…

Excited to kick off a brand new course at Carnegie Mellon University: Monte Carlo Methods and Applications Monte Carlo uses random sampling to solve tough problems throughout science & engineering. We cover everything from fundamentals to real-world implementation: geometry.cs.cmu.edu/montecarlo

I3D 2024 ACM Symposium on Interactive 3D Graphics and Games Call for Papers is open! i3dsymposium.org/2024/cfp.html Consider submitting any innovative 3D work - academic research or the industry. I am the conference's Paper Co-Chair this year, so if you have any questions - contact me!

In our latest I3D Symposium paper, we transform any rasterizer into a differentiable one with minimal engineering and zero external dependencies. Optimize game assets and volumes, train 3D Gaussian Splats, etc. directly within your existing engine. Compute shaders is all you need!
