📟07/08/24 16:47 Tasked to Ryde Pier after a concern was raised for youths jumping (Tombstoning) from the structure into the water. A number of tombstoners have been killed or seriously injured plunging into deep water off cliffs and harbour walls.

📟Callout 13/08/2024 18:12 to St Marys Hospital to crew the Helicopter Landing Site for an urgent Medical Transfer from a Cruise Ship in the Solent to Hospital via Coastguard Rescue Helicopter 175. Excellent coordination by the Aeronautical Rescue Coordination Centre.

📟16/08/2024 15:19 Tasked alongside Bembridge RNLI to investigate an Emergency Beacon Activation in the Seaview area. On scene it was confirmed false alarm with good intent. Good to see a temp Bembridge ALB back in action less than 20min after it was made available for service!

📟17/08/2024 15:59 Tasked alongside Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Team and Bembridge RNLI to assist Isle of Wight Ambulance Service with a Medical Emergency on Priory Beach near Seaview. Casualty extracted via Lifeboat to a waiting St John Ambulance England at Seagrove Bay.

📟18/08/24 16:09 Tasked alongside Bembridge RNLI & Sandown Lifeguards after a 999 call ref a person in a dinghy blown offshore at Shanklin. On scene we could see the Casualty 2 miles out waving for help. Lifeguards recovered the Casualty and Bembridge ILB recovered the Dinghy.

📟21/08/24 12:38 Tasked alongside Bembridge RNLI and Bembridge NCI to locate an Inflatable in the water off our Coastguard Station. The inflatable was spotted by the NCI and tracked until the Lifeboat recovered it. Area search concluded that no persons were in any distress.

📟21/08/24 19:41 Tasked alongside Bembridge RNLI to potential people cut of by the tide at St Helens Fort. Coastguard Rescue Officers were deployed to Bembridge Point and St Helens Duver. The Lifeboat conducted a sweep of the Fort and with nothing sighted we all stood down.

📟27/08/2024 15:20 Tasked alongside Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Team to a missing child at St Helens Duver. Shortly before we arrived on scene the great news came through that they had been found safe and well.

📟17/09/24 12:28 Tasked alongside Bembridge RNLI to a upturned Rhib with persons in the water. Rhib was taken into Bembridge Harbour. We believe the Rhib has slipped its mooring and has been added to the Coastguard lost and found asset list whilst we try and track down the owners

📟Callout 18/09/24 13:30 Tasked alongside Bembridge RNLI & Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Team to persons in the water in possible difficulty near Yaverland. Search from the shore by Coastguard Rescue officers & shoreline search by the Lifeboat concluded that no persons could be located in difficulty.

Today Rescue 175 landed at Bembridge Airport to exchange some Christmas gifts. A great opportunity for our new team member to look around the aircraft . I personally kept my distance as I have issues with buttons and believe me there’s hundreds on there that all scream ‘push me’
