I’ve said it before & I’ll say it again, when dealing with weight-loss you can 2 but you CANNOT have all 3. 1. Sustainable 2. Cost Effective 3. Fast Example: You can lose weight FAST, it can be COST EFFECTIVE but it won’t be SUSTAINABLE. Feel free to interchange the variables

Social Media “Influencers” have warped the reality of what real nutrition looks like creating a diet culture. Inexperienced, uneducated & unqualified “coaches” have desperate people shelling out BIG💰on supplements/programs promising overnight success when a lifestyle takes years

It DOESN’T matter if you’re trying to GAIN MUSCLE or STRUGGLING to LOSE WEIGHT.. you MUST learn how food works EVEN if it’s only at the basic level. Invest in yourself, your understanding of nutrition BEFORE investing in supplements, fad diets or social “influencer” programs!

As an athlete I always heard the classic saying: “Its lonely at the top!” What I discovered quickly was, it’s not lonely at the top. It’s lonely GETTING to the top! Keep grinding!!

Trying to out-supplement a poor diet is unhealthy & unwise. Trying to out-work a poor diet is unhealthy & unwise. Trying to recover quickly w cupping, massage, acupuncture & chiropractic visits w/out FIRST utilizing sleep, nutrition & stretching is unhealthy & unwise. STOP the BS

There’s no such thing as BAD FOODS! Your body holds no prejudice towards them. Words like GOOD/BAD are connotations WE apply. Instead, view food based upon its nutritional density; how much nutrition is packed in each bite! NOW, look at your plate & ask yourself what you see!! 👀

Many people treat their health the same way they treat their illnesses. They want it fixed immediately (NOW), they want it to be easy & they want it cheap! None of which addresses prevention or sustainability. Do you REALLY think decades of unhealthy habits can be fixed quickly?

COACHES 👇 If you’ve made off-season lifting MANDATORY but in-season lifting OPTIONAL you are doing your athletes a MAJOR disservice! This kind of thinking is ignorant or arrogant or both!

Everyone is looking for the BEST workout, diet, supplement or running shoe. Start with CONSISTENCY & build on THAT! You’ll QUICKLY discover BASIC nutrition, showing up DAILY & doing your best will have a GREATER impact on your goals than those $200 sneakers & fad-diets ever will

Overall a little over 7% of high school athletes (about 1 in 13) go on to play in college & less than 2% of high school athletes (1 in 57) go on to play at NCAA Div. 1 schools. Thinking about playing in college? Are you out working the remaining 93%? Standing out is even harder!!

I recently attended an NSCA conference with over 300 of the top strength & conditioning specialists in the WORLD! The WORLD!! Not ONE mention of grounding mats, Infrared Saunas, intermittent fasting, hydrogen water, cold plunges, cleanses or any other distractions/nonsense.

Athletes that had a disappointing season now have the entire summer to improve on their performance & work on their game. What you do for the next 3 months will show your coaches & your team exactly what your intentions are for next season. #NCAA #mlb #nba #nfl #nhl #espn

The first evolutionary step of a strength coach is letting go of training principles that no longer serve them. Exercise science is consistently evolving. Never feel bad for learning to apply new concepts when new information is presented. This is especially true for nutrition.
