Tw death Bridget has passed from #MECFS. Her own mother has hung up the phone after she called her and said she was afraid she might die. I am heartbroken and angry. This whole system tears patients down, and even relatives don't care.

Disappointing yet not surprising

Die neue Stellungnahme der DGN zu ME/CFS ignoriert leider aktuelle wissenschaftliche Fortschritte zu den immunologischen Mechanismen postinfektiöser ME/CFS. Stattdessen propagiert sie überholte Konzepte – und legitimiert damit auch weiterhin unwirksame und schädigende Therapien.

Jeder, der die #DGN-"Stellungnahme zum Forschungsstand bei #MECFS" erwähnt, hat bereits eine Quelle mehr genannt als die Stellungnahme selbst. Das finde ich schon ziemlich bemerkenswert für eine Fachgesellschaft und diejenigen, die sich darauf berufen.

Calling us patients "the ME-Bubble", "crazy" "aggressive", "mob", "lobby", "hysterical" and more won't help your case, btw. It just shows how people standing up for their rights and fighting for their lives makes you uncomfortable. You are ableist, nothing more. #MECFS
