On our last day in Cape Town, we went to the incredible Zeitz Museum of Contemporary African art. So much artwork produced in solidarity with the people of Palestine. Unsurprising that South Africa be the one to stand up and call this genocide what it is.

I also come to Jerusalem as a pilgrim but the stillness and quietness within the Holy Sepulchre and ancient city speaks of the tragic conflict its victims and suffering - also impacting on livelihoods. Praying for the peace of Jerusalem and the peoples of Israel and Palestine

A stunning view of the Jordan Valley and mountains of Moab from the Mount of Olives. Indebted to Daniel Seidemann for piecing together the bigger picture of settlements and the vital need to preserve the integrity of the holy sites in this city of world faiths and communities

Further evidence develops that the war on Gaza is not only wrong but counterproductive to Israel’s security: an elite IDF battalion has shifted from Gaza to the West Bank because of fears of an eruption of violence. Meanwhile settler attacks are rising with impunity.

With Bishop of Southwark making various visits to gather insights and experiences of different parts of the Christian community in Palestine/Israel in a time of war. Gracious meeting with His Beatitude Theophilus along with Orthodox clergy from the West Bank 1/2

The Princess Basma Centre in East Jerusalem is continuing its amazing work with families of children with disabilities and expanding services in Gaza in the face of almost overwhelming odds and insecure funding as a result of the war. Thank you Violette, Dr Waddah and JulieAnn

Very good to come to St Andrew's Ramallah on final morning to hear from Fr Fadi Diab of the psychological and economic impact of the war for those living in West Bank and the restrictions on movement for the clergy and parishes with so many people having lost their incomes

#Gaza Hostilities have further escalated in Khan Younis. A strike reportedly hit near Al Amal hospital, but the intensity of hostilities nearby prevented patients and displaced people from leaving. #NotATarget This and more in Flash Update #99👇

There's a lot going on in the world that's demanding our attention, sympathy and support. Whatever your priorities, support of the courageous and belagured Armenian community should be high on the list. This is not only their issue. The very character of Jerusalem is at stake

Deaths are spiking as hostilities escalate in Khan Younis, #Gaza. Hospitals and sites hosting the displaced have been surrounded and hit. People are trapped and saving lives has become "mission impossible." Humanitarian #CeasefireNOW #NotATarget Watch and read more 👇

All efforts towards full #ChristianUnity are called to follow the same path as Saint Paul. We should set aside the centrality of our own ideas to seek the Lord's voice and allow Him to take the initiative. vatican.va/content/france…

Every person is made in the image of God and is of immeasurable value. This evening I spoke in the Safety of Rwanda Bill about human rights, and the danger of stating who is and is not entitled to them. I urged the government will consider this before it presses on with the bill.

I know you must be sick of repeating yourself @BCWLindsay Politicians refuse to accept the facts because it doesn’t suit their ideology. Reduced funding for youth services = increased violence among young people.

We’ve had so much fun with Panto here in church over recent weeks. Tomorrow we return to St Michael’s for our Parish Mass at 10.30 and are delighted Bishop Rosemarie will be with us for Candlemas. I wonder if the change in St Francis chapel will be noticed. #allwelcome #comeclose

A great evening on Roundshaw with our friends from Sutton Community Works, SDA & Springfield chatting #foodbank. Amazing to hear that in 18 mths households across Sutton have accessed £600k of otherwise unclaimed benefits as a result of coming for food. #pathsoutofpoverty

With Israel’s renewed action in Gaza City to ‘clear out’ all humanitarian shelters, we’re deeply worried for our Al Ahli Hospital. They have received a large influx of new patients with injuries. Staff numbers and supplies are inadequate to cope. Destruction continues unabated.

St Mikes Tykes thought a lot about love today❤️ we love our Thursday afternoons simply hanging out with one another, eating, crafting, singing and storytelling. In two weeks time we head outdoors to the wilderness #followingJesusFootsteps #AllWelcome
