Breck boys basketball won a first ever state title last year, the Mustangs are one game away from being back in the Class 2A championship. Breck routed Montevideo, 73-49 in the 2A quarterfinals. Waleed Muhammad scored a game-high 18. Double-double for Miles Newton (13 p 11r).
