Activists will not be intimidated by improper rulings from judges who do not respect the right to a fair jury trial. Judge Silas Reid has today imprisoned a woman for acting on conscience, having wrongfully prevented jurors from using theirs. This is a crisis of conscience. 1/3

Judge Silas Reid threatened jurors with criminal charges were they to use the centuries-old legal principle of jury equity. He has since been proven to have been wrong as a result of the Trudi Warner case in the High Court - but it appears he has not chosen to amend his error.
