Today, I presented at #AERE2022 my research showing that non-linearities and behavioral responses are key to understand the effects of air pollution on crime. It was awesome to share this experience with my friends Raahil Madhok Bianca Ravani Cecato! All thanks to AERE
Yesterday I presented my joint work with Frederik Noack and Patrick Baylis at Western Economic Association International In Portland, OR. Our paper looks at how migration can offset losses in consumption caused by weather and climate shocks. I also have been drinking a ridiculous amount of amazing Portland coffee!
Professional update: 3 weeks ago I said bye to UBC Faculty of Land and Food Systems and I’m finally a Doctor! I am excited to start a new position as a postdoc with SP Institute in July, after a well deserved break that will include a visit (finally) to the Brazilian Amazon!
