It bothers me that we have all but acquiesced to the erroneous idea that the only way to check judicial power is with judicial power. And yet, we celebrate it and anxiously hold our breath awaiting for the next decision. That is not (r)epublican self-government.

I enjoyed this by Bob Elder. I have some serious quibbles. Interposition long predated KY/VA Res and even the Constitution. It was used in N.E. during the Embargo/War of 1812 before the Hartford Convention. Still, this is a worthy read!

Earlier this summer, my son begged me to watch JoJo Bizarre Adventures 『ジョジョの奇妙な冒険』アニメーションシリーズ公式 . I'll admit that I was hesitant but he's begged me for years. I relented since I wanted to spend time with my young adult son who will out on his own soon. I must admit, he's got me hooked.

Started reading Dr. Aaron Coleman's (Aaron N. Coleman) The American Revolution, State Sovereignty, and the American Constitutional Settlement, 1765–1800. Fantastic book, I just started it last night and I'm already 1/3rd of the way through it.

I reviewed Alex Karp's The Technological Republic for a Law & Liberty symposium. Suffice it to say, I did not like it. lawliberty.org/book-review/cr…
