A great day for the East Coast Greenway! Mayor Levar Stoney spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony for a 13-mile section of the 43-mile Fall Line trail in City of Richmond, VA, which will be part of the Greenway route in Central Virginia:

As Bike Walk RVA points out, the new proposed 3 designs offer no protected barriers for bike-pedestrians. Yet, this VDOT graph from their just released survey results show that having increased bike-ped safety is a high priority.
