One of my PhD projcect sites😊. Incredible damaged peatland probably deriving from sheep-grazing lost a large area of peat but nice restoration work has been launched by @YPP a few years ago. However, No idea how long it would take to recover to a status with positive functioning

And to celebrate britishness ... some #peatland related data! Finally finished processing our water table depth (wtd) data from our Peatland-ES-UK sites. Interesting to see that the 2-3 cm lower wtd has declined over time, now actually burnt plots are wetter (2013 - 2020)!
