I haven’t posted too much of Chemistry! Here are just a few artifacts from our Electron Arrangement and Chemical Periodicity Unit! The Flame Test Lab is always a hit! 🔥

Science National Honor Society making slime. 💚

We hosted a wonderful engineering workshop facilitated by the Navy STEM Outreach Program. Students explored basic aerodynamic concepts such as drag, lift, force, and gravity by working through the design thinking process.

Today, MediPath International students presented their passion projects, showcasing topics of personal interest and independent study, today during One Lunch!

All presentations were health related topics and students engaged in wonderful dialogue, honing their presentation skills and sharing their new knowledge and skills.

Writing, balancing, and classifying chemical reactions and predicting products! The Chemical Reactions Lab was a success and they looked darling wearing their goggles too!

MediPath participated in Eastern Virginia Medical School’s Anatomy Plus Workshop. They learned how to keep a sterile field when prepping for surgery, learned about the work of biomedical laboratory scientists, used the ultrasound, and went into the lab to hold a brain & heart. ❤️

Our MediPath International Club Senior Members had their awards ceremony today!!! These kids are the heart of our school. The dreamers, healers, & humanitarians with hearts of literal gold! 🌟💛🖤👏🎓

Our MediPath Executive Board organized another wonderful speaker, Dr. Lewis, a clinical psychologist with the VA. She was a truly engaging speaker and a wealth of expertise to share! We are grateful for the time she invested in our club members! 💛

We are learning a little organic chemistry day by day during this SOL Week!

Our amazing Kellam kiddos picked up 238 lbs of trash from our watershed during the Lynnhaven River Now Watershed Clean up Challenge!!! 🌾🌱☀️
