SURRI Summer School is now taking place in Granada, Spain! From June 3rd to 6th, SURRI team dives into the bioremediation of toxic metals and critical element recovery. The event will feature presentations from experts, hands-on lab visits, and a tour of the historic Alhambra.

We concluded today with a talk on spectroscopic characterizations to analyze interactions between bacteria and metals, presented by our guest speaker, Prof. Jesus Ojeda from Swansea University 👏🏽
