My sabbatical is about to end. I mostly got resettled in Japan after a wonderful 11 months at Leipzig University.

On December 3rd 2023, we lost Maik Hendrik Sprotte, the man without whom I would not be who I am today. Saw this on the train today and rembered all the wonderful hours I spent with Maik in so many Doutors all over Tokyo. Life isnt the same without him around.
