One of the most difficult tasks a teacher is faced with is trying to balance holding all students to high expectations, while also remaining flexible and attuned to their individual needs.

Biology students selected and created posters to highlight a diverse range of scientists for Week of Respect, and spent time thinking about "What does a scientist look like?" Students then did a gallery walk to learn about each other's scientists and give peer feedback!

Story time: Online teaching during COVID was hard. One day a student asked if I'd heard of the duck song. I didn't. She played it. We played an episode each day at the end of class. Soon my class turned on their cams everyday so we could sing together. Thank you ❤️
