Sadly, the group's Loch Lomond trip was wetter than expected. However, all those making it to the top of Conic Hill were happy in The Bothy for their well-earned Sunday roast!

Have a look at the first complete Trypanosoma in vitro cell atlas: biorxiv.org/cgi/content/sh…. T. cruzi is a weird parasite, the genome a mess, transmitted by the "kissing bug" although it poohs on your eyelid and we are still missing good drugs. Maybe our work can make a difference

This is my favourite Glasgow plaque. I've featured it before and I'll make no apologies for featuring it again. It can be found in the ruins of the North Woodside Flint Mill beside the River Kelvin in the West End of the city. Cont./ #glasgow #plaque #memorial #sherbet

Wasn't there also huge flooding in France - I wonder (or not) why we don't see/hear about it in the UK media - probably too much reality...

Our latest attempt to map origins of DNA replication in Leishmania to understand this process in this peculiar parasite. We took a deep dive at the single molecule level, and attempt to address the differing findings reported over the years Jeziel D. Damasceno Centre For Parasitology

If you have time, have a look at this little paper: rdcu.be/d0T5P #COVIDー19 #scRNA, IMC data from Malawi. Long project, great collaboration - and the data are here: cellatlas.mvls.gla.ac.uk Have a look at the data integration :-)
