The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Bishop Prof Alfred Olwa - Lango, Archbishop Dr. Justin Badi, Primate South Sudan and, Archbishop Mouneer of Egypt visits Equity Bank Lira Branch during His Pastoral visit to Diocese of Lango. Staff were blessed.

I officiated a groundbreaking ceremony today at All Saints Church Obangapewany, a magnificent church Building of 3000 seating capacity which hopefully will be completed within 3 years. I also confirmed 329, and 126 surrendered to Jesus! Diocese of Lango is for Jesus!!!

At All Saints Cathedral Boroboro today, a joint choir from St. Augustine, All Saints Church Obangapewany and All Saints Cathedral Boroboro on the occasion of Christmas Carols; It is so refreshing and renewing. The feeling that Christ is born is real! DoL for Christ!!

Today, on the occasion of Christmas Carols, I gave my Christmas message drawn from Titus 2:11-14. I congratulate Choir from St. Augustine, All Saints Obangapewany and All Saints Cathedral Boroboro upon a heart warming carol songs. To God be glory, DoL for Christ.

There is a special place for the children in this Church; as Diocese of Lango leadership, we are committed to mentoring & fostering spiritual growth & invest in them. Today, over 1,000 children gathered at the headquarters to celebrate Holy Innocent’s day; to God be the glory.

All God’s people in the Diocese of Lango and beyond, Happy New Year. I want to thank the Chair of Laity for the Diocese of Lango, His worship Sam Atul, who also doubles as Mayor of Lira City, for offering Leadership, namely; mobilizing for GAFCON IV, and Janani Loum day and for giving his new year greetings. To God be the glory. DoL for Christ.

Today I celebrated the New Year in the 3rd Service at St. Augustine,Barogole. I gave the message of moving forward with God drawn from Exodus 14:15. I urge the Christians of the Diocese of Lango to move forward in the grace of God. Amen.

Singing in the spirit is integral in our Christian worship, this year, as a diocese, we will give ourselves fully to true worship of the one true God who called us to be his children. I urge all Pastors, Christians & choir to do their best in leading our church in worship. Amen.

Diocese of Lango every month gather believers from all parts of Lango in the second week at the fellowship ground in Boroboro. Today we had the first for this year! We are ready to move forward while United for service and growth. (Eph 4:11-16) To God be the glory, Amwn.

Today, i have officially opened the Diocese of Lango Teachers’ Convention 2023. We are blessed to receive Rev. Dr. Paul Kakoza - Provincial Dir. Educ, Rev. Canon J.F Baalwa, His Worship Sam Atul, Prof. Betty Ezati. This gathering is timely as we open a new term. God be praised.

Ven. Rev. Canon Frederick J. Baalwa had this to say about a teacher: A mediocre teacher - tells, a good teacher explains, a spiritual teacher demonstrates and a great teacher inspires. DoL teachers convention is here, everyone is in high spirit. God be praised.

‘What you do not condemn, you condon but what you condon, you are responsible’, Rev. Dr. Paul Kakooza speaking about; “A Christian Teacher as a Champion in the fight against Sexual Immorality and other evils in schools and societies. What a deep message it was!! DoL for Christ.

Today, i launched the distribution of talking bibles in Leb-Lango and English in the Diocese of Lango. Simon Mukhama of Bible society of Uganda, Tewodros Moges - Ethiopia and Paul Linberg of US made it possible. This project of 5000 bibles will take us far. DoL at Mission!!!

Today, I commissioned the committee organizing Diocesan Convention scheduled for January 15th-19th, 2024. Diocese of Lango Conventions always gather thousands of believers from all over Lango, Uganda, Africa and overseas. Pray with us, and mark those dates. God be praised!!

Congratulations Bishop Elect Onesimus Asiimwe! We, the people of Lango are here to witness the goodness of God in the Diocese of North Kigezi at this momentous occasion of your consecration. We bless the Lord for ⁦Church of Uganda⁩ and ⁦Archbishop Stephen Kaziimba⁩ God be praised.

Today we welcomed Dr. Stephen & Beatrice Langa of Family Life Network Uganda in the Diocese of Lango from 12th -14th at All Saints Obangapewany. He is a lead facilitator in this Married’s’ fellowship. God’s truth can truly heal brokenness & hurts in our families. God be praised.

I congratulate Maverick and Emily upon their successful wedding at St. Francis Chapel Makerere, and i give God praise that i officiated this wedding. I pray for them unending love, trust, peace, and faithfulness in their marriage. To God be the Glory.

It was awesome at Semoma Christian High School, i was the Guest Speaker in the Diocese of Kampala’s Youth Camp. I sincerely thank the Provost of ASCK - Canon Dr. Rebecca, Assistant Bishop - Bishop F. J. Baalwa and the Youth Pastors: Rev Ronnah, Rev. Ben Odongo and Rev Hillary.
