There's a lot to be upset about in today's world, but look on the bright side: bond-holders who lend money to governments to finance the evil you see around the world continue to get ruined in historically unprecedented ways 🥰

It's a long road. There are many distractions and challenges along the way. At times you're going to question each and every thing. But in the end you'll come to realize, all you need to do is buy bitcoin. The rest will follow from there.

Does Bitcoin have intrinsic value? Intrinsic value is a loaded term. #Bitcoin's innate value is in being digital, native to the internet, but it's true you can't make jewelry out of it.

Not your keys, not your coins. When FOMO sets in, make sure you transfer what you purchase to your own wallet that you hold the private keys for, otherwise you are buying an IOU which is what FTX sold a hell of a lot of. #bitcoin #nyknyc

Does #Bitcoin waste energy? The energy spent during mining secures the network and currency. It's similar to paying for security guard to protect the network. Honest arguments against Bitcoin's energy usage would need to compare it with a proper alternative, and there is none.

What happens to #Bitcoin if the power goes out? Wherever miners have power, they'll continue processing transactions and mining new blocks. If there was no electricity anywhere on earth, then the blockchain would be frozen until the power comes back on.

How old is #Bitcoin? Bitcoin the published idea is 15 years old. The whitepaper was published on October 31, 2008. The network and currency are 15 too, if you round.

When shit gets real, you're going to want to have some Bitcoin. You're probably also going to want to be familiar with small, alternative social networks.
