At #USATF10K in Northport, New York, former North Stars Running and Iowa Central Cross Country/Track & Field athlete Simba gets the edge over former Iowa State Track & XC Hillary Bor this time. Biya ran 28:18 to take title by :06 over Bor. Former Iowa State Track & XC Amanda Vestri was 6th in women's pro race in 32:21.

Lost in the avalanche of results from this weekend was that Simba set a new USATF record for 10-K on the road in Tokyo on Saturday night: 27:32. The old record was 27:48 by Mark Nenow from 40 years ago in 1985!
