If we as a society truly cared about children, we would help their parents in every way. From a livable wage to affordable housing to childcare, investing in our future is more than saying "children are the future". The conditions we are born, grow, live, work and age matter.

Increase inequalities, then do nothing about them and refuse to take ‘action’ to reduce demand on your struggling health service. Quite a strategy.
