⚾️ Varsity Baseball - District Semifinal Top 4 Blanchester 0 MVCA 0 Bryce Burress leads off with a single & with 2 outs Roush singles to right, Burress tries to score but is out at the plate. Lions get a lead off single & sacrifice him over, but Roush Ks the next two batters.

⚾️ Varsity Baseball - District Semifinal Bottom 4 Blanchester 2 MVCA 0 Sears HBP, Mobley single thru the 6 hole. Pitching change for MVCA, then Short is hit again. Cats score twice without a hit (wild pitches).

⚾️ Varsity Baseball - District Semifinal Top 5 Blanchester 2 MVCA 3 Lions answer right back in the bottom of 4. A walk, infield single and a walk load the bases. A single thru the right side plates one run, and a walk plates a second one, a ground ball out plates a 3rd.

⚾️ Varsity Baseball - District Semifinal Top 6 Blanchester 3 MVCA 3 Cats even the score with a run in the 5th. Mueller walks and wild pitch puts him at 2nd, & then Roush’s sinking liner in left is misplayed by the left fielder. Mueller scores. Roush Ks the side in the 5th.

⚾️ Varsity Baseball - District Semifinal Top 7 Blanchester 3 MVCA 3 Cats get a two runners in the 6th, but they’re erased via a pick off and a runner doubled off after a caught line drive. Brayden Behymer’s diving grab and a pickoff at 2nd bail out the Cats in the bottom half

⚾️ Varsity Baseball - District Semifinal Bottom 7 Blanchester 3 MVCA 3 Roush draws a two out walk in the top of the 7th, but is stranded. He’ll take the mound in the bottom of 7 hoping to send the game to extras.

⚾️ Varsity Baseball - District Semifinal Final/7 Blanchester 3 MVCA 4 Wildcats walk the bases loaded in the 7th, and with one out a sacrifice fly to right field wins it for the Lions.

🏃‍♂️ Isaiah Abbott preparing for and running the 110 hurdle race at the D3 Troy Regional. He also competed in pole vault, where he cleared 11’6”.

🏃‍♂️ Casey Gilbert getting ready to run the 100 meter dash. Casey had a great start and ran a good race, finishing 9th, just outside of a spot in the finals.

🏃‍♂️ Tristen Malone competed in the discus at today’s D3 Troy Regional Meet. He placed 13th with a throw of 119’3”.

🏃‍♂️ 4x200 relay team of Zack Musselman, Alex Johnson, Sammy McEntire and Casey Gilbert running at the D3 Troy Regional Meet. They placed 13th.

🏃‍♂️ 4x100 team of Zack Musselman, Casey Gilbert, Isaiah Abbott & Sammy McEntire finish 5th in the prelims and qualify for Friday’s finals. They will race at 7:00 on Friday with the goal of finishing top 4 and qualifying for the state meet.

🏃‍♂️ Our 4x100 (Zack Musselman, Casey Gilbert, Isaiah Abbott, Sammy McEntire) relay team placed 7th at the D3 Troy Regional. They had a very successful season, and we are proud of how hard they worked to get here.
