Today I welcomed the announcement of $132 million from the Government of Canada’s Rapid Housing Initiative for the construction of at least 233 new affordable and supportive homes. This will contribute towards the goals outlined in the HousingTO 2020-2030 Action Plan.

As we face the Omicron variant, public health officials are clear: we need to roll out as many booster shots as possible. With expanding eligibility, #TeamToronto is moving fast to ramp up capacity at hospitals, mobile clinics, doctors' offices, pharmacies and City-run clinics.

BREAKING: Toronto Council has voted to eliminate parking minimums city-wide for new buildings, replacing them with new parking maximums. As chief planner Gregg Lintern notes, Toronto becomes one of the largest North American cities to do so. Very important step for a better city.
