The RSPCA and other charities are warning against exercising dogs in hot weather and meanwhile greyhounds are expected to race in 33°C. So cruel.

Another reminder to be mindful of your dogs in this heat. No dog has died from missing a walk, but they can easily get heatstroke running around in this weather!

Statistics released by the GBGB reveal there were a total of 346 racing-related deaths and 3,809 injuries in greyhound racing in 2024💔 The gambling of their lives is unacceptable, and we are pleased to hear the Welsh Government's plans to advance the ban this autumn.
