Yes, the Blue Jays bullpen coughed up the game last night, but the lineup fails to give them much run support. Of Toronto's 16 wins this year, 11 wins (69%) have been by 2 or fewer runs. 5+ runs: 2 games 4 runs: 1 game 3 runs: 2 games 2 runs: 8 games 1 run: 3 games

After mounting 3 consecutive comebacks in the 7th inning or later last week, the Blue Jays are now on a stretch of 4 straight games where they've allowed the go-ahead run in the 8th inning or later.

At first glance, bullpen troubles have cost the Blue Jays as of late. But something much bigger has been costing them games. bluejaysnation.com/news/the-blue-…

Another hot and cold start to the season for Jose Berrios. What's behind the highs and lows, and is this just the pitcher we can expect him to be? bluejaysnation.com/news/whats-beh…

What we're seeing here is the long-awaited ceiling for Rodriguez in the bullpen. Not saying the door is closed on him as a starter, but his stuff as a reliever has been stellar as of late.

The last time the Blue Jays had 8 or more walks in a game and 1 or fewer runs? April 1, 2023 when the Blue Jays had 10 (!!!) walks and only scored 1 run in a 4-1 loss to the Cardinals.

That's a brutal way to give up the lead in the 8th for the Jays. But when you can't score, 2 runs against may as well be 10. Jays are 0 for 10 with RISP tonight with 11 runners left on base.

The entire Blue Jays lineup is going through it right now, but why has Bo Bichette's extra-base power also disappeared? bluejaysnation.com/news/bo-bichet…

The Blue Jays have now gone 19 consecutive innings without a run scored. They know they're allowed to do score runs, right?

The Blue Jays escape from Arlington having only scored four runs total runs in this series with 6 extra-base hits, yet take 2 out of 3 from the Rangers. Bizarro Blue Jays baseball, folks.

It may seem weird to discuss with the Jays 1 game out of a playoff spot, but should they consider trading Chris Bassitt at the deadline? bluejaysnation.com/news/should-to…
