I've been deep in the literature today, but my favorite finding was this retracted article about #spermatogonial stem cells due to egregious, nonsensical AI-generated Figures. Of note, this paper was peer-reviewed by a Northwestern Medicine faculty. Yikes!? frontiersin.org/articles/10.33…

I occasionally submit lists of potential bull names to the folks who assign them to the calves. I'm glad to see that my submission from a few year ago, #Sertoli, is still making productive and pretty daughters. #SelectSires #AcceleratedGenetics #WorldWideSires #ReproRocks

As someone who works in #agriculture, it does not surprise me that folks sometimes don't know where their food comes from or how it gets from the farm (or garden, wherever) to the store to their home.

As always, the #NAAB Technical Conference was a great opportunity to catch-up with colleagues from across the industry, make new connections, & learn new things about the incredible animals we work with. #SelectSires personnel were out in force this year!

Just when you're impressed TIME chose a livestock feed additive as a 200 Best Inventions... they begin the article with a misinterpretation, "Cow flatulence is a significant contributor to the greenhouse gas in our atmosphere." Burbs, not farts, folks. 🐄time.com/7094797/dsm-fi…

Anybody else on here thinking yearling bulls are getting way too fat? I want to buy an athlete; not a feeder steer. It needs to be able to breed cows, and not melt like butter on this place. #MondayVibes I’m feeling as the bull sale catalogs are pouring in. #justranchin
