Sir Hank fell in the lake. Sank like a brick. I grabbed his collar and was able to pull him out within 5 seconds. He didn’t have his life jacket on at that moment. But he coughed a fair bit. Concerned about secondary pneumonia which bulldogs can apparently get. Of course the vet

Update on Hank: took him in. They did lung X rays. Found some inflammation on the edge of one of his lungs or something from the water inhalation- and gave him antibiotics to prevent further issues and potential pneumonia, so I guess it’s good that I took him in. The water was

What on earth 👀

Tragic situation in Texas today. I looped together several clips to show the nearly 4 months worth of rain since midnight today.

Weather pattern that led to Texas flooding mainly due to the conglomeration of moisture from former Tropical Storm Barry, which held itself together. Gulf of America + Gulf of California moisture also involved ... converging on Texas in between.

Short-term mesoscale weather models predicted the extreme rainfall totals and rates at least 6-8 hours in advance. HRRR 20z 21z 22z Other models showed similar potential. We are always working to translate weather model & radar information into action & communication.
