Nice to see PNAS science writer Jill Sakai writing about fNIRS! Functional near-infrared spectroscopy reveals brain activity on the move | Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnâŠ

Great to have new faculty joining BU_Neurophotonics

Congratulations to BU_Neurophotonics alum Alexander von LĂŒhmann for receiving the SfNIRS 2022 #fNIRS2022 Early Stage Investigator Award!

It has been amazing working with the Society for functional Near Infrared Spectroscopy Exec Comm, Board and the whole #fNIRS community and watching it grow these past many years. And what phenomenal advances we saw since our last in person conference in Tokyo in 2018.

October 15, 2010. Twelve years ago today was the first #fnirs âŠSociety for functional Near Infrared Spectroscopyâ© conference in Boston at the Harvard University Northwest Building with 152 attendees. Where will we be at the 20 year mark? One thing for sure, our community has always exceeded our expectations.

Learning more about one of BU_Neurophotonics's newest faculty, Jeffrey Demas, and his "path to the light side" bu.edu/neurophotonicsâŠ

Do you want to be developing and applying the latest in neurophotonic technologies? BU_Neurophotonics is recruiting a neurophotonics research scientist and core manager. Apply now bu.edu/neurophotonicsâŠ

Many thanks to all Society for functional Near Infrared Spectroscopy members who contributed to this initiative, especially my friend and co-lead Robert Luke!
