BSN BREAKING: Briana Rexroat has informed her team she will not return as Macomb’s Head Volleyball Coach next season. Rexroat took over in 2015 after two seasons as assistant and was part of the Colchester dynasty under the Paul family in the early 2000s.

BSN BREAKING: Jackson Kane is no longer the Head Coach of Macomb Girls Basketball. Kane, who took over in 2021 after arriving from West Central, led the Bombers for four seasons before deciding to step down.

BREAKING: Justice Keene, Nate McGraw, Larry Adams, and Kishor Kapale have been elected to the Macomb CUSD 185 Board of Education. At just 19 years old, Justice Keene makes history as one of the youngest individuals ever elected to a school board in the state of Illinois.

The Illinois Basketball Coaches Association has named Macomb’s Jeremy Anderson 2025 Coach of the Year following a standout season for the Bombers. Anderson led Macomb to a thrilling 42-41 win over Rockridge to capture back-to-back IHSA Class 2A Regional Championships

NEWS: At the May BOE meeting, Dr. Mark Twomey announced that a request has been submitted to name a facility at Macomb High School. The proposal asks for the MHS weight room to be named the “Don Simpkins Weight Room.” Simpkins was a longtime coach & administrator in MCUSD 185.

Macomb Bomber Girls Soccer competes for the IHSA Class 1A Regional Championship tonight in Monmouth at 6:00 PM, facing off against Beardstown

The IHSA Class 2A Baseball Regional at Phil Bradley Field takes place tonight. At 4:00 PM, #1 Eureka faces #8 Canton, followed by #5 Macomb vs. #4 Illini West at 6:00 PM. The winners of tonight's semifinals will advance to the regional championship on Saturday at 11:00 AM.
