Macomb Bomber alumni Meghan Benson is in her first season as the Cheerleading Coach at Drake University. This afternoon, the Drake Bulldogs Men’s Basketball Team secured the MVC Championship with a win over Bradley, punching their ticket to the NCAA Tournament! Congrats 🏀

BSN BREAKING: Briana Rexroat has informed her team she will not return as Macomb’s Head Volleyball Coach next season. Rexroat took over in 2015 after two seasons as assistant and was part of the Colchester dynasty under the Paul family in the early 2000s.

NEWS: At the May BOE meeting, Dr. Mark Twomey announced that a request has been submitted to name a facility at Macomb High School. The proposal asks for the MHS weight room to be named the “Don Simpkins Weight Room.” Simpkins was a longtime coach & administrator in MCUSD 185.

Macomb Bomber Girls Soccer competes for the IHSA Class 1A Regional Championship tonight in Monmouth at 6:00 PM, facing off against Beardstown

The IHSA Class 2A Baseball Regional at Phil Bradley Field takes place tonight. At 4:00 PM, #1 Eureka faces #8 Canton, followed by #5 Macomb vs. #4 Illini West at 6:00 PM. The winners of tonight's semifinals will advance to the regional championship on Saturday at 11:00 AM.
