We couldn't put all the fun videos we wanted to into the supplemental materials for our new preprint, so I had to share them somewhere!! Castaneda Lab --- Stress granules forming in response to arsenite-induced oxidative stress in U2OS cells; Fire LUT

2020 is coming to a close 🎆, and vaccines are going into arms 💉. Rest assured that IDPseminars plan to outlive the pandemic! Therefore we are thrilled to announce the awesome speakers that will kick off 2021!

Revised version of our paper from Kresten Lindorff-Larsen and TanjaMittag labs now available: biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

We are happy to present a new preprint from @Pappulab and TanjaMittag ‘s lab. Anne Bremer and Mina Farag did an amazing amount of insightful work. We uncover the impact of a complex hierarchy of interactions on the driving forces for phase separation of PLCDs. 1/n

Congrats Anne, Wade Borcherds and all coauthors!

Update: Our paper with @PappulabWashU is now out in Nature Chemistry: nature.com/articles/s4155…! Part of the preprint will appear elsewhere. Instead, we added a large new dataset on the effect of spacers on PLCD phase separation.
