Trump #tariffs are pure madness. The Eu 🇪🇺 should not comply. The Eu has to react and definitely integrate the 🇪🇺 Single Market to unleash all its potential growth and competitiveness. “El odio es ciego, como el amor. Pero el amor es creador y el odio nos destruye”. Sus palabras. Importante escucharlas en estos momentos de fricción y confrontación generalizadas, de negación del otro. Ha muerto un hombre sabio. Pepe Mujica. Hemos perdido todos. QEPD.

How we define progress shapes how we pursue it. When GDP is treated as the sole benchmark, the focus narrows to economic growth alone, sidelining critical dimensions such as well-being, equity, and sustainability, writes Borja Santos Porras. ie.edu/insights/artic…

Over the weekend in Gaza, we saw yet more mass shootings & killings of people seeking United Nations aid – an atrocious & inhumane act which I utterly condemn. We need an immediate ceasefire, the immediate release of all hostages & unimpeded humanitarian access.

António Guterres (@antonioguterres) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Gaza is more than a humanitarian crisis – it is a moral crisis that challenges the global conscience. We will continue to speak out. But words don’t feed hungry children. The United Nations stands ready to make the most of a ceasefire to dramatically scale up humanitarian operations.

The starvation of people in #Gaza must end now. Standing with UN and NGO colleagues ready to deliver desperately needed, lifesaving aid to hundreds of thousands at risk of death. A ceasefire followed by meaningful peace talks are urgently required to put an end to this tragedy.
