A standout Philosophy of Science Association conference talk: Riet van Bork (Amsterdam) and Jan-Willem Romeijn (Faculty of Philosophy - University of Groningen) show that neither network models nor latent variable models are "neutral" with respect to causal thinking. So rather than avoiding causal talk, we should test its assumptions.
