Lovely images of a children's nurse with her charges from @archivewhg As a project we have somewhat neglected middle & upper class baby care. Research in this area reliant mainly on family archives incl photos, household management accounts & correspondence.

A big focus of the National Council of Women 100yrs ago was the political education of young women in a range of issues. We like to think they would approve of these messages. Thanks to everyone who joined in! Join us again tomorrow, 2-5pm at Moseley Road Baths. #RepresentBrum

Birmingham has the highest number of hospital admissions for flu in the country and the majority are young women (under 40) 😢 Flu is very dangerous for pregnant women. You can get the flu jab at your GP or antenatal clinic - just ask your midwife. See: orlo.uk/OkktK
