This year’s Harvey Award for Outstanding Leadership of a J.V. or Club program has two phenomenal recipients – Elizabeth Kolle of Bowdoin Rowing and Kyle Polson of Alpine Skiing! #AwardUBears Bowdoin College

#OTD, 2014: Bowdoin Rowing first women’s boat wins the Elite Four event at the Reading Amateur Regatta in London, beating British powerhouse Thames Rowing Club in the semi final heat, and besting Boston’s Riverside Boat Club in the final with open water. bit.ly/2sUkUGh

#OTD, 1885: Bowdoin wins the Intercollegiate Rowing Association championship amid controversy. Cornell fouled the Bowdoin boat in the first race of the championship on July 4, prompting the new race to be held on this day. bit.ly/2Y2YNOG
