Phenomenal work by the great Femi Owodunni MD, MPH & Evan Courville, MD , in > than 20k type II Odontoid fractures. Frail have worse outcomes, but surgical treatment actually results in better outcomes compared to non-op tx in older patients. This can shift the way we think about this disease.
