As we were clearing up at the brush fire, a 2nd alarm was transmitted for a house fire in far north Dallas at 17620 Squaw Valley. High winds spread the fire in the original home to the houses on either side.

Mutual aid call for 896 late this afternoon as we were requested out in the county at 241 Bilindsay Cove Rd. Multiple departments had been out with several trailers and other vehicles on fire.

Special response for rehab this afternoon as 896 answered a 1 alarm hotel fire at 7815 LBJ Frwy. Fire and smoke were seen showing from the building on arrival and the temps and humidity called for lots of water and Gatorade.

Last night, 896 answered a special call for rehab at a one alarm fire in North Dallas. Around 2030, companies responded to 7033 Stefani Dr. On arrival they found moderate smoke but conditions deteriorated and eventually crews had to go to a defensive fight.

Box 4 spent the afternoon assisting at a 1 alarm house fire at 3559 Durango St. Several firefighters were transported to the hospital for treatment after exposure to chlorine gas during the operation.

Early morning run for 896 sent us to a 1 alarm house fire at 9631 Robin Meadow Dr. E57 arrived to find heavy fire showing. The house is a total loss.

Another early morning call for 896 sent us to 1615 John West Rd to assist at a 3 alarm fire. Companies found heavy fire showing from the building on arrival.

Late night run for 896 took us to 6050 Melody Ln in the Five Points area. E37 arrived to find fire already coming through the roof of the 3 story apt building. Heavy fire and a collapse escalated the call to a 2nd alarm.

Another run this is evening in our first alarm district as we went to 7315 Blairview Dr for a 1 alarm house fire. First arriving companies found heavy fire on the Charlie side of the house.

Afternoon call yesterday for a pallet fire at 8770 S Central Expy. First in companies had a large pile of pallets burning spreading to the woods and threatening the buildings.

896 answered a 1 alarm house fire at 16143 Chalfant Cir this afternoon. E7 arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the back of the house. Temps and humidity are high so we are using lots of hydration supplies.

Early morning special call for rehab at a large mulch pile fire at 2101 Walnut Hill Ln.

Second run of the day sent us to 9709 CF Hawn Frwy. E51 arrived to find fire thru the roof a strip business location.

Box 4 was out this past Saturday providing support to DPD & DFR as they worked the protests in downtown Dallas. Biggest discovery - DoorDash will deliver to our parking spot under the old Reunion Arena parking garage! 😁

Last night, 896 answered a 2 alarm fire at 13250 Emily Rd in north Dallas. E22 arrived to find smoke showing from a courtyard area. After pulling lines to the interior of the complex they found they had fire on the 2nd & 3rd floors as well as coming thru the roof.

Yesterday afternoon, 896 answered a 1 alarm apartment fire at 11661 Dennis Rd in NE Dallas. First in companies had moderate smoke showing from 2 apartments. Fire was located in the walls and it took quite a bit of work to get it extinguished.

896 answered a special to assist at a brush fire last night at W Illinois & Valleria Dr. Crews had numerous spot fires in the woods that took nearly 8 hours to extinguish.

896 & 897 are back in service after assisting the DPD SWAT team with a barricaded person call. Suspect was wanted for arson. He finally surrendered after liberal application of tear gas.

896 & 897 answered a 1 alarm fire at 9393 Skillman Ave this afternoon. E57 & T57 arrived to find heavy smoke from the eaves. They were able to get in and find the source quickly.
